Art has always been part of my story. Back Porch Brushes is where I get to make it part of yours.
How I Got Here
I’ve been making things for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a creative family, studied art and design, volunteered in the art program in my children’s school, and eventually found my way back to painting.
Back Porch Brushes grew from something I’ve always believed: being creative should be fun, social, and something everyone can enjoy. You don’t have to know how to paint.
That’s where I come in.
Whether you join me for a paint party or pick up one of my art kits, I want you to relax, have some fun, try something different, and leave thinking, “Hey, I made that!”

Painting Party
A Back Porch Brushes painting party is really about getting together, having some fun, and trying something a little different.
I bring everything you need and walk you through the painting step by step. You don’t need to know how to paint, that’s what I’m there for!
And because I can’t seem to leave well enough alone, I like to add a few extras to make each party feel a little special. So grab your friends, come ready to laugh, paint, and enjoy yourself. You’ll go home with your own painting and a fun night you’ll be talking about later.
